1ShoppingCart Basic from 1ShoppingCart is not a hosting service; it's simply a "Button" shopping cart. A Buy Button shopping cart is a perfect ecommerce addition to your existing website. If you already have an information website and now want to start selling, you can simply add 1ShoppingCart's buy button. When your customers click on that "Now" button, they will be transferred to a secure shopping cart service at 1ShoppingCart.
1ShoppingCart provides you with a safe place for your customers to buy your products. They also offer you quick sign up with their credit card processing company to process credit card payments. Feature Set:
The sales reports are well organized. You can configure these and review several at once to get a complete snapshot of your sales.
1ShoppingCart allows you several coupon options to attract customers. Also, 1ShoppingCart lets you easily cross-sell and up-sell products. These mean you can tempt your customer to upgrade during checkout. When you go to McDonalds to order a hamburger, they ask you if you want fries and a drink also. This is a cross-sell, and when they ask if you'd like to super size your meal, that's an up-sell.
1ShoppingCart has a few drawbacks. Because this service is mainly a shopping cart, 1ShoppingCart Basic is limited compared with all-in-one services. You must also be familiar with html (webpage programming language) to set up many of the 1ShoppingCart features. Another drawback—after you have all your products on your website, you must still add the same products to the merchant tools section so you can manage them.
Ease of Use:
The back office tools that allow you to advertise your products are simple to use and understand. Adding buy buttons to your website is complicated, though. This requires some programming, but 1ShoppingCart has excellent help to show you exactly how to do it.
Ease of Setup:
The only problem with the setup is confirming that all your "Me Now" link buttons are correct. You must run your own tests to check this.
